2023 Conference Update
The Conference Planning Team has recognized that the Spirit is igniting a broad movement for renewal in the Church. We have sensed that the Ignite the Church Conference, and the Community that has gathered around it, are being called to play an important role in the renewal journey ahead. We believe that we are being drawn by the Spirit to bring this gathering of leaders from across the Church together in an expanded way that brings relationship, resources, and passion together for the sake of sharing the Good News.
As a result we will not be offering a Conference in 2023 but will instead be focusing our efforts on discerning God’s vision and mission for this movement. The planning team will be holding a facilitated in-person retreat in February to dream and plan with hopes to invite others in the broader movement to join us in the Fall for further dreaming.
Our current plan is to offer an expanded Hybrid Conference in February of 2024. Your prayers will be appreciated as we move forward. We know that many of you will miss having a Conference in 2023 but we hope you can share in the excitement we are feeling as we sense the movement of the Spirit birthing new ways to encourage, inspire, and challenge leaders throughout the year and to grow some new renewal movement partnerships.
Please visit the website from time to time for further updates. We look forward to connecting with you again in even more significant ways in the future. As always…may you continue to ignite the church, wherever you have been planted, with an Ephesians 3:20 faith…that by the power at work within us God is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine!

We are all experiencing some seismic shifts.
Since our last in-person gathering in February 2020, the World and the Church have been enduring unprecedented seismic shifts. After a year of well-received online webinars, we are excited to offer a new hybrid option for our 2022 Conference.
Join us in-person at Spirit of Joy Church in Orlando, Florida OR online.
The 2022 Conference content is centered around the theme SEISMIC SHIFTS: Where Do We Go From Here? which is grounded in the witness of Psalm 46: 1-2..."God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and the mountains shake."
Four large group sessions will focus on a particular shift:
-
Public Church (Winston Persaud)
-
Hybrid Church (Joe and Jess Liles)
-
Adaptive Church (Tod Bolsinger)
-
Thriving Church (Stephanie Spellers)

ELCA Fund For Leaders
Nearly $9,000 raised in 2022!
The ELCA Fund for Leaders has provided $25 million in scholarship support for over 1,000 seminary students since 2000. The fund’s long-range goal is to provide full-tuition support for every candidate attending an ELCA seminary. To help future leaders and to bless the church, Ignite the Church Conference presenters donate their time so that all conference proceeds can be given to the Fund for Leaders. Since its inception in 2017, nearly $17,000 has been donated. Thanks for your generosity!
